If you look closely at the Ghost of Starman's sprite, it has a little eye. Sometimes, the enemy will flash a menacing smile. So this is sort of what I think they would looks like. Kind of cool.

it's either, because ness's nightmare (or rather, Raidy's Nightmare) is yellow and mani mani is purply but this is red-orange
